Tamara Klein was raised in a household that valued and stressed diversity and inclusion, with her parents getting her involved in politics at a very young age. She graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 1995 and worked as a commercial and intellectual property litigation attorney at multiple large law firms. At each firm, Tamara was heavily involved in recruiting and enjoyed finding ways to help all people feel like they belonged. So, when the opportunity arose for her to become a third-party recruiter, she jumped at it. Tamara remained an outside recruiter for over 20 years. In 2021, she decided she wanted find a firm with a culture and commitment to DEI that matched with her principles and focus on recruiting for that one firm. As a result, she joined Quarles & Brady, a firm known for its long-standing, deep commitment to DEI as a Senior Recruiter. She is now the Manager of Legal Recruiting and Partner Growth. Tamara is always looking for ways to make the firm even more inclusive and has implemented some changes to achieve that objective. Tamara is a Chicago native and lives in Niles with her 16-year-old son, 13-year-old daughter, a dog and three cats.
