Richard Donohoe brings 35 years of domestic and international project development experience and advisory in the Transportation, Aerospace, Oil, Gas, Energy, Finance, Mining, and Defense technology markets. Richard Donohoe is a strategic technical advisor and regulatory consultant for J.S. Held’s energy, minerals, semiconductor, aviation and defense and biotech industries. Richard has significant experience in energy, display, satellite and semi-conductor technology development. Richard’s experience also includes renewable energy supply chain, advanced EV battery technologies as well as minerals to manufacturing supply chains and processing technologies and associated consumer electronics. He leads J.S. Held’s North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and resilience and compliance Program Management Office (PMO) offerings. Mr. Donohoe offers focused litigation experience related to advanced energy, automotive, and aerospace technology efforts with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), US Department of Energy (US DOE) Advanced Projects Research Agency (ARPA-E) and energy market power generation manufacturing technology market. Technology included advanced integration of electric and autonomous vehicles, gas and LNG powered vehicles, small modular reactor turbines, satellite communications, Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) and Manufacturing Technology intellectual property. Early in his career, Richard has been directly in charge of the development of the advanced satellite and defense programs as an Air Force Active-Duty Member, Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) VS (Advanced Aircraft) and DARPA. Applications included advanced metallurgy, materials science, turbine development and Small Modular Reactor (SMR) integration with electric and gas turbines. Roles included the manufacturing industrial base, contractor selection, industrial processes, and Intellectual Property (IP) rights and digital analytics systems.
