Maryam Saleh is executive director of the Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship ay Illinois Institute of Technology. Dr. Saleh has spent her career working at the intersection of academic research and startups. She has a B.S. in computer engineering from Brown University and a Ph.D in computational neuroscience from the University of Chicago.
Dr Saleh is a key player in the Chicago entrepreneurial ecosystem, including serving as an advisor and vice president, at MATTER – a business development hub for building innovative healthcare solutions.
Most recently, she was vice-president of sales and partnerships at Machinify, a venture-backed startup that applies AI to re-tool healthcare payer operations.
