Gillian Fenton

Gillian M. Fenton, Esq., CLP served as President of LES (USA & Canada) 2020-2021. She now serves on the society’s Public Policy Committee. Gillian is Special Counsel for Innovation and Government Collaborations at GSK. She supports the pipeline and platforms for vaccines through a wide variety of BD transactions, R&D collaborations and nondilutive funding agreements with key partners including U.S. Government entities (NIH/NIAID, BARDA and DARPA). Prior to GSK, Gillian was VP, Associate General Counsel & Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at Emergent BioSolutions Inc., where she founded the IP department and supported all IP aspects of the company’s IPO and growth strategy through M&A in the vaccines, biodefense, and global health fields.
