Chitra is Senior Patent Counsel in Johnson & Johnson’s Data Science, Data Protection, and Health Technology IP group, providing intellectual property counseling and deal support for high-tech computing projects across J&J’s various healthcare sectors. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Chitra spent 12 years in private practice in San Francisco and Washington DC, working with a variety of technologies, including artificial intelligence, autonomous aviation, computer vision, image processing, medical devices, and the Internet of Things. She has a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, and a B.S. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
